The Simplicity of Sunday

What a treat it was to snuggle up on this brisk Sunday morning with my son while sipping some fabulous coffee. These are the little moments that I truly cherish.

Being silly soothes the soul.

Time for a blog post!

When the weekend rolls around, it reminds me how important a little R&R time can be. It provides me with a feeling of renewal because I’m able to take a step back and enjoy the very moment I’m experiencing. It’s so easy to get caught up in the never-ending tasks ahead, so I often like to remind myself that they are like ocean waves– they will never cease, so take the time to slow down….if just for today.

A good pen, a beautiful journal and some amazing coffee is always good medicine.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been writing in a journal. Picking up pen and putting it to paper allows me to connect with my deepest self in a way that a computer can’t always achieve. Journaling is much-needed therapy that I can’t live without. I often find that when I go back to read an entry or two, I recieve a little mini teaching of some sort. What a nice gift indeed!

You are so right. I do feel like that so many times. The journal can be your best friend. Nice reading your blog:)

I’m so glad you enjoyed this post. I think what I love best about journaling is that it’s like giving myself little bits of advice that I can go back and read again and again.

  2. Hey I am so happy I found your blog page. I really found you by mistake, while I was searching on Yahoo for something else. Anyway, I am here now and would just like to say thank you for a incredible post and a all round enjoyable blog. (I also love the theme/design)
