I enjoy the sweater and shell patterns very much. As I learn more about the advanced knitting I will try a lot more of the patterns. I'm looking forward to the next issue. Keep up the good work. |

I was looking for a pattern to knit a tote bag. Then I received the January 2008 issue and on page 62, you have the Gadabout Tote. The shape is exactly what I was looking for. I love your magazine. I just renewed so I can get more great patterns. I'm also knitting the sweater in the November 2007 issue on page 32. I love to knit. A lot of items that I knit I give to others. Since June I have knitted 28 tote bags in different sizes. The tote on page 62 has side panels that I was wondering how to do, now with the pattern in hand, I see how to do it. Thank you for your wonderful magazine!

I was going to let my subscription lapse for Creative Knitting and then I received my last issue, the January 2008 issue. It was loaded with projects that I wanted to knit. Then it occurred to me, that out of all of the knitting magazines I subscribe to, (about 5) Creative Knitting is the only one I have actually knit from. I am going to renew. Keep those great patterns coming and I can't wait to start the top down sweater. That is something I have been wanting to try for a while. |

I love your magazine! I teach a class for beginners thru advanced knitters at our local Senior Center. I live in North Carolina where all the ladies crochet, but don't know anything about knitting. I've been doing it for the last six years. It has been a challenge, but I love doing it. I've been knitting since I was eight years old, more than 60 years.
My mother and my aunts were knitting sweaters for the Red Cross during WWII. The only thing I could do was hold the skeins for them to roll it into balls. I complained and complained till they finally took the time to teach me. I was a quick study and was able to knit the sleeves for their sweaters, I was so proud of myself.
Thus began my love of knitting.
Your magazine has been an invaluable aid. I have made many of the items you have featured. |

I just wanted to drop you a line to say that your January 2008 issue is really wonderful! |

I have made several items from your fantastic magazine. I like how you have written the instructions for each project so clearly and if there is a difficult part, you always have a demo to learn from. I would like to see more little and youth size boy patterns that are simple and masculine. My grandsons think grandmas needles can do wonders. |
