It's a Wrap

April and May tend to be the busiest months for me, both in my family life and in my professional life. My days are filled with Easter and Mother's Day celebrations, end-of-school activities (my oldest is moving from lower elementary to upper elementary, so it's a big deal), kids field day, knitting designs for late fall and early spring 2015, traveling to the summer show of The National NeedleArts Association (TNNA), trying to find time to start a garden (I am determined this year), and still stay on top of household jobs! Spring is certainly a time of new things, but even with all the craziness that displays itself, it is the time of year when I feel the calmest.

I find that in the ups and downs of the weather, my muse reaches out to me, urging me to play with new ideas. She encourages me to think of growth and renewal by prompting me to sketch, to dream, to make plans. Needless to say, with these "showers" of joy and experimentation, I look forward to the results that bloom later in the year. I'd love to know what the spring muse is growing in your life! Just shoot me a quick note and let me know.

Hugs,
