TNNA Recap

I'm back from a whirlwind weekend at the summer TNNA (The National NeedleArts Association) trade show. And what a whirlwind it was! Lots of new yarns, products and tools, as well as wonderful people, made for an amazing trip. Enjoy the mini-pictorial share!

With as much as I got to see the crew of Annie's, I only got the one picture, and it was of their booth! All of the ladies are charming, hardworking and fun. I am honored to work with such a group (and if I had a big squishy heart picture, I'd insert it here).

One of the coolest things I saw was the Felting Machine by Simplicity. My brain literally went into overdrive on the different ways we can jazz up our handknits without too much effort.

I made it to the booth just in time to get my copy of Jill Wright's new book, 7 Easy-to-Knit Handbags for Every Occasion, signed by the author herself! The book is quite remarkable, with stunning photography and beautiful designs. You absolutely need to check this one out.

Some items that are on my MUST-HAVE list are:

  • Zealana's Air. It is positively to die for -- you can barely tell you are holding it!
  • Yarn Pop. An enchanting bag company with bold, contemporary colors. They debuted their new messenger bag, and I am SO getting it as soon as it is available.
  • SoakBoxes by Soak. They introduced two new kits, containing nail polish, Soak wash, yarn and a sock pattern. It's just TOO charming for words.

I met so many amazing designers, yarn companies and retailers -- too many to list here. But I'll share more soon!
