The new book by Amy Herzog, Knit to Flatter, is a gem in the world of knitting books. Amy claims it to be the only instructions you will ever need to knit sweaters that make you look good and feel great. Once you read it, you'll believe it!

Amy gained significant recognition for her Fit to Flatter online blog series back in 2010, with tutorials that ensure every knitter a chance at an alluring knitwear wardrobe. Partnering with Abrams Books, she's combined her methods and knowledge into a book with over 20 patterns that you will absolutely want to knit. But, that isn't all.

Her book goes into stunning detail on measuring, determining your body type, and choosing silhouettes that suit your shape: Top-Heavy, Bottom-Heavy and Proportional. Before the end, you will know how to make your arms look longer, enhance your bust, or flatten your tummy, as well as how to modify knits to suit your own unique body areas. Being an ... erm ... busty gal, myself, I can honestly say that I learned a lot more than I ever thought with regards to how I should dress for my body type!

Knit to Flatter gets two thumbs up and I encourage all women to add this to their library.
