Red T-Shirt Surprise

Thank you so much for the newsletter about knitted items that were disappointing when done. I made a red cotton, long-sleeved T-shirt which looked terrible when finished. After reading your newsletter, I was inspired. I picked up stitches around the bottom of the shirt with a circular needle and the same yarn. I just knit for about three inches and cast off. My shirt is now wonderful. It's better than expected and will be the everyday, at home, weekend shirt I intended it to be!
