I would like to let you know how much I enjoy your magazine and find a project to knit in most every issue. |

I love your magazine and generally purchase the magazine whenever it appears on the news-stand. I prefer to purchase from the news-stand versus obtaining a subscription but nevertheless I'm still a connected, dedicated reader. |

I love Creative Knitting magazine: I love the anticipation of going to the bookstore to get my new copy; I love sitting in the car and flipping through it immediately, just like a little kid with a new toy; I love sitting down and flipping through the pages later that night. Thanks for the best magazine EVER! |

Love the magazine so much. The joy of curling up on the sofa with the latest issue of Creative Knitting and a cup of tea, and browsing happily is true relaxation. Keep up the magazine exactly as is! |

I really enjoy Creative Knitting magazine. As a newbie getting back into knitting, the short sections on knitting instructions are just another plus. |

Last year a young man came to my house selling magazines. To be nice, I ordered one year of your magazine to help him out. I had had other magazines before and was not impressed.
I crochet and knit afghans for charities and local churches to give to those who need an "extra" blanket during the winter. I make them in various sizes from babies to those whom are more abundant in size. This year each of my 7 grandchildren are receiving an afghan as part of their gift for their birthdays. Each child has helped pick the color and type of yarn for their personal one. Three patterns have come directly from your issues.
I have really enjoyed receiving your magazine as each issue is so easy to read and understand. Since I do not normally make sweaters, etc. I was skeptical at first, but after reading my first one, I was able to adapt one of your patterns into an afghan for a baby. The people who saw it was amazed at the pattern. So far, I have translated 8 of your patterns to afghans which I have given to charity alone. All of them were beautiful and quick to produce. After looking over the new issue that came today, I have found at least 2 more sweaters I will be transforming into afghans.
It is now time to renew my subscription and your magaine has been placed at the top of my list for "my personal birthday wishes. I look forward to receiving many more issues. |

Thank you for the great patterns, so many of the other magazines feature expensive yarns and are too high end for most people. Keep up the good work. |

I have been knitting and crocheting all of my life, and am now teaching my five-year-old granddaughter. I was taught to knit in the German, or Continental, method, which I find much easier and quicker.
I have a neurological disability that causes severe, chronic pain. My doctors were surprised to learn that I use knitting for pain control. It is meditative and relaxing, and acts similar to biofeedback in controlling and easing chronic pain.
Over the years I have tried a variety of knitting magazines, but none of them compare to Creative Knitting,. I keep stacks of old issues around the house, and we enjoy looking through them again and again.
I especially like the "Schooled in Stripes" pattern in the March 2008 issue, and began a pink and purple version for my granddaughter just days after we got the issue in the mail. The piece has beautiful, classic lines updated to a contemporary version that looks modern without seeming overly "trendy." It's a fine example of what keeps me subscribing to Creative Knitting magazine.

My resolutions for this year are to exercise on the treadmill and after that get going and knitting like crazy! Right now, I am knitting a vest, where the front and the back have no form but it is so plain and easy that it got me to continue knitting. I never thought I would understand knitting patterns as easily as I have in the Creative Knitting January 2008 issue. I would like to thank you, the editors, for making me a fan of your magazine, now I feel that I am going to renew a subscription. I cannot help but learn, learn, learn and read, read, read. Knowledge is a thing that can't be unraveled! Thank you so much! |
