Two New Pattern Books From Annie's
Two fantastic pattern books that arrived in my mailbox and a quick interview with the Plymouth Yarn team are my favorite things this week!
Zoo Animal Friends is positively adorable! Ten wee little animals with their own tiny outfits delight will delight anyone and everyone you knit them for. I especially love the adorable elephant and the mama and baby kangaroos! Each pattern uses the same yarn, Deborah Norville Everyday Soft Worsted (which is the perfect yarn for toys), and the instructions are clear, detailed, and easy to work. Don't pass this one up!
All of the projects in Measure Once are beautiful, totally wearable, and all are based on the same knit gauge made with Cascade's 220 Superwash (this yarn is so so lovely). Michelle walks you through swatching and even has room for you to record your swatch and needle data for later reference. Her instructions are also simple and clear, but it is her design sketch and notes that are particularly wonderful. The Acton Cardigan and De Soto Bag make such a perfect set!
