During the seemingly endless winter, I have had a recurring dream. In it I'm knitting, of course, but in an atmosphere of unaccustomed warmth, peacefulness and beauty. I am in a quiet boat upon a calm bay, with many other boats within the confines of the safe harbor. It is afternoon, and the sunshine reflecting off the water is breathtakingly beautiful. There are other knitters with me, and although I cannot think of the names of anyone, we seem to be friends of long standing. We're enjoying a glass of fine wine and tasty hors d'oeuvres we brought aboard as we silently move through the gently lapping waves. This seems to be the ideal way to spend time with knitting friends!
