Briskly roll the yarn between your palms. The heat and friction will fuse (felt) the ends together. Continue knitting.

Pattern Notes

Shawl is worked back and forth in 1 piece.

Both yarns are held together throughout, including seaming.

The shawl is stretched in blocking to achieve finished measurements.

With both strands of yarn held tog, cast on 154 (162, 170, 178, 186, 194) sts; do not join.

Work in 2x2 Rib pat for 2 inches, ending with a WS row.

Change to Shadow Cable pat and work for 10 (10 1/2, 10 1/2, 11, 11, 11) inches.
