So Long, Farewell
It was 18 months ago when Creative Knitting magazine editor Kara Gott Warner proposed that I take over the writing and editing of this online newsletter. Composed of a tutorial for a knitting technique, schedules of events, product reviews, a free pattern, reader feedback and ending with a personal note, I found the format flexible and appealing.
I've enjoyed sharing tricks and techniques that I've learned throughout my nearly 50 years of knitting, and I hope I've steered you to some interesting books and events. I've especially enjoyed periods of lively discussion, particularly our exchanges regarding techniques for eliminating the pain that sometimes accompanies repetitive-motion activities such as knitting.
But now it's time to say goodbye as I apply myself more diligently to some of the other activities in my life -- much as I'd like to do everything, it's just not possible. So, I thank you for being a lovely audience, and I hope our paths will cross again out there in the fiber world.
