Thanks for the Charity Knitting Article

Nancy says: "Your article about charity knitting has me all excited. I live in a small island community with lots of active women. We have a quilting/knitting group that meets weekly. The quilters are always working on a quilt to raise money for island charities. The knitters just knit for themselves and/or families. Next week I will talk to them about coming up with a project to help out a local charity. Like many island communities, fishing has long been the main income source for many. But that income is declining, and we have many families with more needs than income. I will talk to our village social services to find out how we can help. Thank you."
