Resolutions
"Year's end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us."
--Hal Borland
At the start of each new year, knitters often find themselves ready to jump into many new endeavors. They share many common goals when it comes to resolutions. Some examples may be to finally finish those projects that have been collecting dust, getting your stash in order, organizing your needle inventory or maybe creating a knitting journal for those many works-in-progress.
Instead of creating those resolutions, continue marching ahead without regrets, keeping an open heart and remembering that each experience holds an opportunity to learn if you just stop to pay attention.
On a slightly different note, I've spent time reading through the encouraging feedback and questions you've shared with Barb over the past several months regarding her uplifting and instructive newsletters. I personally appreciate Barb's distinctive teaching ability to present a tutorial in the warmest and most approachable way, helping us to venture without trepidation into those unknown knitting waters. Now that the torch has been passed onto me, I hope to continue on the same path that Barb has so graciously paved, and I encourage you to continue sharing your questions and feedback. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
Editor Asks: What will you do to better organize your works-in-progress in the year ahead?
If you have a unique system that helps you stay organized, your response may be published in a future newsletter!
