Finished Measurements
Head Wrap: Adjustable to fit head size 13–15 inches
Wristlets: Approx 6 inches


  • Fingering weight yarn* (464 yds/100g per ball): 1 ball put your feet up #786
  • Size 4 (3.5mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Sewing needle and thread
  • Safety pin
*Sample project was completed with TOFUtsies (50% superwash wool/25% soysilk/22.5% cotton/2.5% chitin) from SWTC.

12 sts = 2 inches/5cm in Double Seed St with 2 strands of yarn held tog.
To save time, take time to check gauge.

Special Abbreviation
Knit in front and back (kfb): Inc 1 by knitting in front and back of next st.

Pattern Note
Use 2 strands of yarn held together throughout.

Head Wrap

Pattern Stitch
Double Seed St (multiple of 4 sts)
Row 1 (RS): *K2, p2; rep from * across.
Row 2: *K2, p2; rep from * across.
Rows 3 and 4: *P2, k2; rep from * across. Rep Rows 1-4 for pat.

Head Wrap
With 2 strands held tog, cast on 20 sts and work in pat until piece measures 14 inches.

Shape end
Maintaining pat, bind off 1 st at beg of next 12 rows-8 sts. Bind off rem sts.

Make 2
With 2 strands held tog, cast on 10 sts.
Rows 1 and 2: Knit across.
Row 3 (Inc row): Kfb across-20 sts.
Rows 4–7: Work in St st, beg with a knit row.
Row 8: Rep Inc row-40 sts.
Row 9: Purl across.
Row 10: Knit across. Bind off all sts kwise. Hold 1 end of piece and wrap into a flower shape; st in place.

Note: There is no right or wrong side, due to pat.
Lay wrap on a flat surface, measure 14 (15) inches from cast-on edge and mark with safety pin. Fold cast-on edge to pin and sl st in place. On RS, sew bound-off tip in place.
Sew 1 flower at tip and 2nd flower just below and to left (see photo).


Make 2
With 2 strands held tog, cast on 12 sts.
Row 1 (RS): Knit across.
Row 2: K1, purl to last st, end k1. Rep Rows 1 and 2 until piece measures 6 inches. Bind off all sts.

Make 2
With 2 strands held tog, cast on 14 sts.
Row 1: Knit across.
Row 2: Purl across.
Row 3 (Inc row): Kfb across-28 sts.
Rows 4–6: Work in St st, beg and ending with a purl row.
Row 7: Rep Inc row-56 sts.
Row 8: Purl across.
Bind off all sts kwise. Complete flowers as for head-wrap flowers.

Turn wristlets to WS and sew cast-on and bound-off ends tog. Turn to RS and allow them to roll. Sew 1 flower to seam on each wristlet.
