Capturing Those Fleeting Moments
The tranquil view outside my window on this splendid Sunday morning.

Sharing one of those special early morning moments: dew on the leaves, and the air heavy with fog. It’s a rare opportunity to connect with life and share in its awesome beauty!

Happy Sunday!

What will you do today to take some time out to enjoy the simple things in life?

Going for a walk after finishing up the final two batches of preserves from a bit-too-enthusiastic visit to the farmer’s market yesterday: weekend totals – 4 batches of jam, 2 batches of sauces, but only about 50 rows on my cane stitch scarf (in a yummy hand-dyed silk…)

The weather is sunny and warm and won’t be much longer – time to stretch the legs along the shore and see which of the migrating birds are flocking up, or visiting in-transit.

Went for a short run today and took in the beauty of a near perfect day. Our escape to nature is a very special place in Eastern Maine, about mid-state… so beautiful and is a continual source of grounding and inspiration. I just need to think about it and I’m at peace. Thanks for taking me there!

      Hi Michael,
I’m so happy I could inspire some moments of peace for you! It can be hard to find them sometimes….but isn’t it funny how they are usually available most of the time!

      Take care,
      Kara
